Galt is a classic small rural city with tight-knit communities, friendly locals, and excellent schools, making this ideal for young families.
As a kid-friendly city that is part of Sacramento County, Galt has dozens of public parks and recreational facilities. It is also surrounded by nature reserves, hiking trails, rivers and waterways great for water sports activities, and summer camps.
If you have kids and want them to hone their survival and social skills, which might have become a bit “rusty” after several months of community lockdown and home isolation due to COVID-19, you may want to check out our list of summer camps in or near Galt.
